Candidates and Election issues of 2016

Through classroom examination of election issues and candidates, I learned many things about the issues and about Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, Garry Johnson, and Jill Stein.
One of the things I learned was that more than one candidate can agree on an answer. I had always thought that each candidate had a side and that was that. But it turns out that even the candidates that dislike each other the most can agree on many problems.
Another thing I learned was that issues that seem simple can have very complicated answers with both pros and cons. For example a simple question can be “Should we raise the gun restriction?” which can lead to huge debates on whether we should or not.
One last thing I learned was all the issues that were happening in the world and how people want to resolve them. For example I didn’t know that Syria wanted to send 5,ooo refugees to our country or even that there was talk about war on Isis. Every worksheet we did helped me learn about a different issue in our world.
